Tammin Pamela Sursok ( Johannesburg , South Africa , August 19, 1983 ) is an Australian actress and singer of South African origin . She is known for the role of Dani Sutherland on Home and Away , as Colleen Carlton on The Young and the Restless and Siena, on Disney Channel ‘s Hannah Montana . She also played the role of Jenna Marshall on Pretty Little Liars for ABC Family .
She also launched a singing career (under the name Tammin ), with her debut single, “Pointless Relationship”, released on 14 November 2004 and debuted in the top 10 of the Australian Singles Chart in the following week. In 2006 she played the lead in her first film De ella Aquamarine , with the role of Marjorie, a mean girl. She played Colleen Carlton on the American soap opera The Young and the Restless in 2007-2009, and was nominated on Emmy nomination day during her time on the soap. She did her first made-for-television movie, Spectacular! , which premiered on February 16 ,2009 on Nickelodeon . She also played Carrie in Flicka 2 . She guest-starred in a recurring role on the fourth season of Hannah Montana as Siena, the love interest of Jackson Stewart ( Jason Earles ).

Tammin Sursok was born to Daryl and Julie Sursok in Johannesburg , South Africa . At the age of 4, he immigrated to Sydney , Australia with his family. His mother Julie is a classically trained pianist and guitarist and as a result, Sursok grew up surrounded by music. At a young age, Sursok participated in the Sydney Youth Musical Theatre, where he pursued his interests in acting, music and dance. He also studied with Trinity Speech and Drama College and graduated with high distinction. Sursok was educated at Ravenswood School for Girls, Gordon, Sydney , studying speech and drama in her later years of school. She won her part in the long-running Australian drama series, Home and Away , at the end of 1999 , after ending at age 10.
2000–2004: Career beginnings
In the year 2000, Sursok began her role as Dani Sutherland on Home and Away . In 2001, she was nominated for and won the Logie Award for the Best New Female Talent category. In 2002 Sursok was selected as the Junior Youth Ambassador for New South Wales, and in 2003 she was awarded the Australian Centenary Medal for her “acting and service to Australian society”. While working on Home and Away , she also began taking steps toward starting a music career, writing her own songs and practicing the guitar. In 2004, the same year that she was nominated for Australian of the Year, Sursok left Home and Away 1to fully concentrate on his budding music career. 2004–2005: Musical beginnings and debut album
In early 2004, recording of material for his debut album Whatever Will Be began . She worked with producers who have worked with celebrities like Britney Spears , Dido and Christina Aguilera . Sursok’s debut single “Pointless Relationship” became the number one and most requested single on Australian radio in late October 2004. It went on to peak at number five on the ARIA Charts; it also earned platinum accreditation (70,000+ copies sold).
Sursok’s second single “Whatever Will Be” was the number one most requested track on Radio Australia in early March, and debuted and peaked at number 13 on the ARIA Singles Chart, becoming a moderate hit. Soon after, Sursok’s debut album, “Whatever Will Be” was released, peaking at number 13 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The album’s third single, “It’s a Beautiful Thing”, debuted at number 30 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
In August 2005, Sursok temporarily relocated to the UK and made preparations for “Pointless Relationship” to be released as its international debut. However, the release was canceled due to a lack of support for the song.

In late 2010, Tammin Sursok played the role of “Carrie” in Flicka 2 Friends Forever . Tammin made her musical comeback in recording songs for the Nickelodeon musical , the made-for-television movie, Spectacular! released through Nick Records . She was featured on the songs “Dance with Me”, “For the First Time”, “Something To Believe In”, and “Eye of the Tiger”. The album was released on February 3 , 2009 and was moderately successful, reaching 44 on the US Billboard 200 chart .
Sursok was nominated for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series at the 35 Daytime Emmy Awards in 2008 for her performance as Colleen on The Young and the Restless .
She was set to release her second studio album in 2010 and says her new direction in music is going to surprise her fans. Sursok stars in the original After Dark production thriller, Husk .
In June 2010, Sursok appeared as a recurring character on the ABC Family drama Pretty Little Liars . She played the role of Jenna Marshall. Sursok also appeared in Hannah Montana as Jackson’s girlfriend, Siena. On May 28, 2011, she was promoted to series regular Pretty Little Liars .
