Biography and artistic career

2001-2014: Early years

He was born in Los Angeles ( United States ) and grew up in the Highland Park neighborhood, in the bosom of a family of artists.  His parents are actress Maggie Baird and musician and screenwriter Patrick O’Connell.  He has an older brother, Finneas O’Connell , who is also a songwriter and supporting actor.  He has Irish and Scottish ancestry .  When she was little she was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome , something she has always tried to control. 

During her childhood she was educated at home and at the age of eight she joined the Los Angeles Children’s Choir, where she learned singing and musical technique.  At the same time he began to play the piano and ukulele ,  and gave dance classes with private teachers.  By the time he was eleven years old he was already composing and singing his own songs, following in the footsteps of his older brother. 

2015-2017: “Ocean Eyes”, Don’t Smile at Me and early career

In October 2015, Eilish recorded the single ” Ocean Eyes .” The topic arose at the request of one of her dance teachers, who had asked her to do a choreography with original music. Finneas O’Connell lent her the song that she had initially composed for her band, but he proposed to Billie that she interpret it herself.
